Jane Iredale, founder and president of Iredale Mineral Cosmetics, was at the forefront of the Clean Beauty industry before the term even existed--offering physicians a full line of makeup that was effective AND good for your skin. History

Before she formed her cosmetics company in 1994, Jane Iredale's background had been in film, theatre, and television. She started as a casting director working in television commercials with world famous actors and models. Throughout her career she has worked with the best makeup artists in the field, and has seen firsthand how skin disorders and sensitivities not only threaten careers but can also destroy self-confidence. This led her to develop a makeup line that could actually aide in the health of skin. Today, Jane Iredale makeup and skincare is offered in more than 50 countries through fine spas and salons, destination resorts, apothecaries, medical offices and luxury retail.
